Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve Backup suffers from a remotely exploitable buffer overflow vulnerability.

A remote and unauthenticated attacker may be able to execute code of their choosing with system level privileges on an affected system. Repeated attempts to exploit this vulnerability may also result in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition on the vulnerable service.
