4.25 After I add new rules or comment out rules how do I make Snort reload?

Usually a kill -HUP will work just fine. But if you are running inside of a chroot setup, this will not work as expected (see FAQ [*]). If you're running like inside of a chroot jail, your best bet would be to kill and restart the snort process instead.
