Web site problems I've ran into

On occasion (like once every two or three days), I come to the site and login like normal. And it says im logged in and I can edit my account.
If I click on forums, it then tells me I have to sign it. But it also tells me I am signed in. Signing out and back in does not help. Coming back a couple hours later does usually help.
Could it be something with Squid cacheing?
Firefox 1.5.0.4, running through a Squid 2.5STABLE14 proxy.

Is it possible to disable your caching the next time you notice this problem?
