Hi Rain, which support packages have you installed to support snortalog ?
Are there any error messages in the box's eventvwr ?
cheers

Thanks Chris,
i installed snortalog and tried runnin it using perl 5.8. it is giving me reports
perfectly but without graphs. when i use the option -g gif it is giving me an error
"GD:graph:....:missing" use good graph libraries.
i did not get how to overcome this problem. i tried downloading various GD libraries.
but i could not understand where to place them.
can you help me in this regard? is there any other version of perl which works fine.
i tried perl 5.6. but no joy.

Hi rain, I thought it might be a problem with GD.
From all the info I've seen, *all* that needs to be done is go into your PHP.ini and uncomment the line 'extension phpgd2.dll", reload your web server and it should work, however I've tried this & all sorts of different things and cannot get it to work, you can also try the pear package manager to try and install GD support, there is a guide at winsnort for the pear installation method, but it doesn't work me unfortunately.
At the moment, I'm resigned to having no graphing support, which isn't too much of a hardship for me luckly.
Sorry I can't be of more help
Cheers
Chris
