BASE not showing info
Posted by ghostalker623 on March 14, 2005 03:48:54
I got followed the directions at winsnort.com to get SNORT setup on my laptop for testing. Snort see's the traffic on my NIC, the IIS webpage pulls up without a problem, but its all at 0 with no counters turning. Any idea what the problem could be? |

It could be that it's pulling the data from the database. Can you post your output string from snort.conf? What are you logging to?

Most of the time that BASE reports 0 for the information, it means that there really are no events in the database. Or that you have turned off automatic caching and need to update the event cache on the maintenance page.
