php 5 and mysql 4.7 and acid and barnyard

Posted by snowball on April 24, 2005 12:42:29

Will Acid and Barnyard be compatible with php5 and mysql 4.7?
I went to the acid page and nothing has been updated since 2003.
Also when I compile Apache 2.0.5x I want to use --with-mysqli
instead of --with-mysql
Will this different client matter?

I am planning to use fedora core 3 and download my own php, apache,
mysql source and compile.
Thanks,
SnowBall

Hi-

ACID does not support PHP5. I would recommend the BASE project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/secureideas) This is a fork of ACID which is actively being supported. Of course I am biased.
