Snort alert in syslog

Hi,

I want to config snort to sys log.

Setup

SNort is Linux Box.
i have kiwi syslog server in windows.

In snort.config iam configuring with syslog server IP and Port.

But still i am not getting any alert in my syslog.but i can see alert in database and log files.

then i started with -s syslogip:port option but snort could not start.



Kindly help me in this.This is very important & Urgent for me.
