0 alerts and sensors=0....when running ACID for the first time...

Snort, ACID, MySQL, IIS, etc on Win 2000 Adv Srv.

When i open the ACID console in the browser I get sensor=0 and all other values are zero as well.

Pls let me know the configs in snort.conf, etc that i need to verify....(...i checked them but everything looked okay...), i'm following the steps from a "for Dummies book" and it is pretty reliable....

Thanks for reading this and I look forward to getting some input.

Hi Abhi, you might consider using BASE as opposed to using ACID as it is now unsupported, with that said, can you post the relevent portion of your snort.conf, you didn't mention php, has that be verified as working on your server ?, are there any error messages in mysql ?
