Received error message 16

I'm running snort_inline on Mandrake 10. I have it loggin to mysql and have acid installed, I am starting snort with the rc.firewall script. When I start it up it starts ok but I get an error message at the bottom of the screen that says Received error message 16. It is still running though, I am getting alerts in acid as well. Does anyone know what this particular error message means?
