EagleX IDScenter and Syslog

I am new to using snort. I installed the EagleX package for Windows. It installs almost ready to use. I am running into a problem trying to get this version of IDScenter to log to my syslog server. It logs just fine to the MySQL server that installed with the EagleX download. Can someone please give me a pointer or 2 on how to configure the IDScenter to log to my syslog server.
