displaying the timestamp in snort alerts

Posted by holdahl on April 20, 2005 15:49:14

I'm using snort with SPADE.
But when I look at the alerts, the timestamp does not show the year, only the time , like 04/02-1-00:02:29. The -1- might be 1999 (which was the year that the data I'm analysing was made), but it only display -1- and not 1999 in all the alerts.
I have tried -yy -yyyy but nothing changes from using the -y option with snort.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?
