Where is snort_inline ? Binary missing after compile

Hi folks,

I'm new to snort, but have been reading all the docs. I compiled snort with inline as follows:

./configure --with-mysql --enable-dynamicplugin --enable-inline
make
make install

Everything went succesfuly after I linked my kernel source to the /usr/include/linux dir on CentOS 4.3.

The docs (section 1.5 I believe) say to run snort_inline but I cannot find this binary.

I am using snort 2.6.0. I would love to have this setup as an IPS, but stuck on this part.

Disregard. I found the answer. The snort_inline binary is only for the honeypot project. The documentation on this site should be updated to let people know if they compile snort from source, thn the snort -Q enables inline mode.
