Need an Open Source intrusion detection solution that is easy to setup and is secure? Hardcore IDS based on Fedora Core 4, Snort 2.6 and Aanval will build a secure intrusion detection system to monitor your network for attacks and vulnerabilities. You can setup your intrusion detection system on one host or many. There are three install types that you can use depending on how you want to setup your intrusion detection environment.
