error : failed dependencieslibmysqlclient.so.14 is needed by snort-mysql-2.6.0-1

Hi
I am trying to install snort and mysql on FC4 but below error happen when i want to start install snort-mysql-2.6.0-1.fc4.i386.rpm (after installing same version of snort successfuly) ;all rpm sourcees are downloaded from www.snort.org also mysql service is installed

error : failed dependencies
libmysqlclient.so.14(libmysqlclient_14) is needed by snort-mysql-2.6.0-1.fc4.i386rpm

now could every body help me...

I am having the same problem n it's driving me nuts. The difference is, in my case, it requires xxx.so.15 instead of 14. Wat to do....? any one ....?

You need to make sure you have the mysql-client rpm installed. You may only have the mysql server installed.
