snort-2.4.3 installation

getting error while installing snort with mysql.
./configure --with-mysql is successfull
but make command shows error, the output is
[root@gateway]# make
make all-recursive

Dear all,
I am a newby in snort.I just wanted to use it but the documentation is provided at this site is not enough for me to complete installation. is there anybody who can help me by giving the complete documnetation of snort.(step by step documentation).

The complete doumentation is only available on snort.org, you can paste your error you are getting while installations.
