Job Details:

Information Security Analyst

Summary:
Technical lead for security best-practices service group. This person leads a team for the research and coverage of network security issues, and owns the process for publishing timely packages of network security data for customer consumption.
Responsibilities:
• Drive research into behavior of Internet threats
• Evaluate network-based computer exploits and writing Snort signatures to cover them
• Track the coverage of relevant network security issues
• Promote awareness of new security concerns as they appear
• Ensure compatibility of deliverables with product releases
• Provide guidance to team members to achieve team objectives
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of and interest in network security
• Strong knowledge of Internet transport and application protocols
• Experience with Snort and Snort signatures required
• Python, Perl, SQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Common Unix command line tools (such as CVS)
• Knowledge of certificate management desirable
