Snort Cann't connect to mysql,thanks a lot

environment:snort 2.0+mysql+windows 2003
when run the snort use command:snort-c"c:\snort\etc\snort.conf"-l"c:\snort\log" -d -e -X,list errorsas follows
error:database mysql_error:access defied for user 'root@localhost'
Anyone have the answer?plese tell me as quicly as possible. |

First, verify "root" has access to your Snort MySQL DB
Second, refer to snort.conf file, "step4" find the entry for MySQL, modify the password & DB name (& username if different than root) |
