cannot capture any data using wireless network interface?

I am using D-link DWL-G122 USB wireless nerwork interface. the snort 2.6 is installed on winxp. I used the command " snort -i 2 -v" to capture data.But, I got nothing. I am sure the network and interface number is well. could someone help me to solve that?
