please help - not getting data in db

I have installed snort in windows 2000 server .
I have configured itz output 2 mysql in the same box.
Now i have checkd it , snort is running without any prblm.
But i couldnt get any data in the mysql db .
Im a beginer .. can u please suggest me wat 2 do 2 get data in my db.
