A problem when I use snort on Window Server 2003

[!] ERROR:can not get access to the log directory log
(directory doesn't exist or permissions are set incorrectly or
it is not a directory at all)

this error message display when i use the command " snort.exe -c snort.conf -l e:\tmp " and i have created the directory "e:\tmp"
the version I use is version 1.7-mysql-win32

who can tell me the anser?

Hello,

Check the permissions on the e:\tmp folder and make sure you have write access to it. Other than that, try upgrading snort to the latest version.

Iam have a same problem
but the directory on snort.log
can open but contain directory is crazzy
