Snort signatures

I noticed that the updates include a directory called /doc/signature
Is this something that needs to be defined in the snort.cfg to load when snort.exe is started? |

No, no need to define it in the snort.cfg. Just copy the content of /doc/signature to the installed directory of snort on your computer in /doc/signature |
