Snort total package download

I’m looking for a download package Windows XP that installs snort, mysql, and acid. Does anyone know where to find it?

Just looking for a simple solution…

When I first looked at Snort I found this. This is easy to set up. I am definitely a Windows guy but I think the overhead is too high for effective MYSQL/Snort. I would recommend trying Patrick Harper's Fedora/snort/ACID or BASE instructions as a primer for setting up snort/linux/ACID. I initially ran eaglex on a Win2000 box but I just wasn't happy with the results. Of course, I was a Snort "pree-mee" which is even less experienced than a snort "newbie". You might have better results..you might not. Others might have some ideas on this.

This is my first time setting up a snort box, so I’m looking forward to see what happens…

I'm sure I’ll end up trying both methods
